Diesel Truck Technical Support Analyst

Role summary / purpose Technical Support Analyst supporting dealer network by assisting dealers in vehicle repairs via case files. This position supports dealer technicians and body builders by providing repair and diagnostic support through a case management system. Key responsibilities • Provide technical services support to dealers and body builders for repair and diagnostic support • Work with dealers on the phone through the case management system to help resolve vehicle repair issues • Collaborate with internal teams on fixing diagrams, schematics, elemental steps, and diagnostic forms • Provide publications feedback to publication teams • Escalate trending failure modes to Service Engineering • Support new product launches • Ensure all vehicle modifications remain within compliance regulations • Possible travel to dealer locations Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of field service engineering, automotive service, or truck service experience • OR Master's degree • OR At least 4 years of field service engineering, automotive service, or truck service experience • Extensive diesel experience required • Extensive experience as an end user and in customer support • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis Required skills • Strong customer service skills • Diesel experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice-to-have / preferred skills • MS Office • Class 8 Truck experience • Critical thinking and problem solving Employment details – type, location, hours Contract position for a minimum of 12 months with potential for extension. Initial training required at Lisle, IL and/or Woodridge, IL locations. Position will be remote after initial training period with required office visits 2-3 times per year or as needed. Up to 10% travel may be required and will be reimbursed.
