Industrial Painter

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Painter to join their team. This role is responsible for preparing and applying paint and other coatings to varying sizes of fabricated metal parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting within a high-paced manufacturing setting using HVLP painting system, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities: • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required • Mix and apply primers, paints, and coatings using HVLP / Cup Gun spray equipment • Ensure proper coverage, thickness, and finish according to specifications • Inspect the finished parts for quality and touch up as needed • Possess basic set of job-related hand tools • Maintain paint equipment and spray booth cleanliness • Ability to operate an industrial fork truck • Follow all safety protocols and use proper protective equipment • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely job completion • Maintain accurate records of paint usage and completed jobs Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial painting preferred • Experience using HVLP spray guns and other industrial spray equipment • Ability to follow detailed work instructions • Understanding of surface prep techniques and paint application standards • Ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of hazardous materials • Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
