Company introduction We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our organization and lead the successful delivery of multiple simultaneous IT projects. Role summary / purpose The IT Project Manager initiates, plans, executes, controls and closes multiple simultaneous IT projects. This role applies established IT processes and leads cross-functional teams to complete tasks and deliverables according to project schedules: on time, with quality and within budget. The IT Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for project success, achieving stated financial and performance targets while managing all project processes including interdepartmental meetings, resource identification and allocation, feasibility assessments, detailed project planning, timeline tracking, budget forecasting, change control, SDLC documentation, training, and implementation communications. Projects vary in number, size and complexity. Key responsibilities • Create, execute and manage cutover and deployment planning for large-scale integrations and digital transformation ERP initiatives with strong stakeholder management and executive leadership reporting • Lead teams in a fast-moving dynamic environment to deliver implementations that drive modernization across the organization • Develop detailed project scope, budgets and schedules based on leadership direction • Drive proper processes, documentation and tools needed to motivate teams and accomplish project goals • Make real-time decisions in the absence of complete or perfect information • Identify, evaluate, document and develop mitigation plans for project risks and issues • Select, develop and evaluate team resources to ensure efficient project operation • Coordinate work performed by both internal staff and external partners • Manage IT vendors and System Integrators adhering to SOW, scope management and vendor financials • Provide coaching and informal guidance to other professionals with less experience • Present to executive audiences and network with senior internal and external personnel Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of project/program management experience with at least 2 years of management experience, OR • Master's degree and at least 6 years of project/program management experience with at least 2 years of management experience, OR • At least 10 years of project/program management experience with at least 2 years of management experience • In-depth knowledge of Project Management processes and best practices • Track record of implementing large-scale and complex IT initiatives and their budgets • 5+ years of corporate PM experience completing large-scale/complex IT implementations with detailed project plans and direct budget management • Experience with greenfield Non-SAP Systems-to-SAP conversion implementations in complex legacy application ecosystems • Demonstrated ability to identify, uncover and document risks, and drive discussions with stakeholders to remove or reduce risk scenarios • Strong working knowledge of project finance and best practices Required skills • Strong Project Manager skillset with expertise in PM processes and best practices • Skilled problem solver and change champion/leader • Self-starter who works autonomously to determine and drive proper processes and communications • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience speaking to large groups and delivering presentations to ex…
