Systems Integration Engineer Location: Claycomo, MO Pay Rate: $36.66-40/hour Contract Length: 12 Months (Renewed Annually) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Position Summary We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support the design, implementation, integration, and validation of vehicle electrical systems. The successful candidate will develop schematics, support prototype builds, conduct system-level testing, perform ECU integration activities, and troubleshoot complex vehicle electrical systems. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop vehicle electrical system schematics. • Review and approve device transmittals. • Develop system FMEA and Design Verification Plans. • Define fusing and grounding strategies. • Flash ECU software and calibration files. • Conduct system-level testing, diagnostics, and functional validation. • Support breadboards, prototype vehicle builds, and launch events. • Lead compatibility reviews and troubleshoot system issues. • Perform root cause analysis and support production plant builds. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. • Experience with systems engineering and integrated vehicle systems. • Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills. Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Wiring, Root Cause Analysis Electrical Engineering – Must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or Master’s). Systems Engineering – Must have prior experience with systems engineering, meaning, be. Ability to design, test and troubleshoot systems were multiple stand-alone electrical and electronic components are connected to work together. Electrical Wiring – Must know how to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. Root Cause Analysis – Must demonstrate the ability to understand causal effects and establish a structured approach to identify and validate potential causes for that undesirable behavior. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. • CAN network diagnostics experience. • ECU software flashing and vehicle diagnostics experience. Work Environment Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite during design activities. Support of prototype builds and launch events may require 5–6 days onsite and occasional weekend support with overtime eligibility.
