Production Supervisor Material Handling

Company introduction We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Supervisor to manage operations at our High Cube Center/HCC. Role summary / purpose Reporting to the Superintendent and Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end flow of materials and the direct supervision of a team including mentoring supervisors. This role requires a leader who can navigate a fast-paced environment, manage labor relations, and drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making. You will play a critical role in maintaining building safety, organizational cleanliness, and overall customer satisfaction to ensure dealer shipping deadlines are consistently met or exceeded. Key responsibilities • Manage end-to-end flow of materials • Directly supervise and mentor supervisory team members • Navigate fast-paced operational environment • Manage labor relations • Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making • Maintain building safety and organizational cleanliness • Ensure overall customer satisfaction • Meet or exceed dealer shipping deadlines Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's Degree preferred • Previous experience in a unionized supervisory environment preferred • Knowledge of or ability to learn current systems such as SAP/EWM • Proven record of dependability Required skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to demand accountability • Strong analytical ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently • Self-starter mentality with continuous improvement mindset • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Problem-solving experience • Conflict management experience • Hard worker willing to work all shifts • Open to new experiences • Strong team player with desire to grow and develop Employment details – type, location, hours Must be able to work outside traditional hours. Current operations run 6:00 AM to 1:30 AM, including weekends and overtime as business dictates.
