Role summary / purpose This position will report to the Power Grid Operations organization to support construction and maintenance activities for substation and transmission line assets. This position will be responsible for helping coordinate all activities related to materials needed for transmission voltage class projects. This will require engagement with stakeholders from operations, supply chain, or directly with material vendors. The position will be geographically assigned and the primary point of contact for resolution of materials constraints that could negatively impact the project. Key responsibilities • Coordinate all activities related to materials needed for transmission voltage class projects • Engage with stakeholders from operations, supply chain, and material vendors • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolution of materials constraints • Support construction and maintenance activities for substation and transmission line assets Required skills • Strong communication and organization skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to work in a team environment • Knowledge of material acquisition and delivery • Strong Microsoft Office skills Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Supply Chain Planner background and experience • Knowledge of Supply Chain/Transmission operations • Utility industry experience • Working knowledge of Maximo Employment details – type, location, hours • Hybrid: 3 days in office per week • Schedule options: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or Monday-Thursday, 6am-5pm • Personal vehicle required with mileage reimbursement provided • Quarterly field and site visits (day trips only, no overnight travel) • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required • Overtime: Approximately 4 hours per week (pending work group manager approval)
