Role summary / purpose Provide operational, administrative, scheduling, logistical, and Learning Management System (LMS) support that enables reliable, organized, and scalable delivery of training programs within Training Delivery & Professional Services. The Training Coordinator centralizes day-to-day execution support, so training is scheduled, tracked, compliant, and delivered smoothly, allowing learners, instructors, and program managers to focus on successful learning outcomes. Key responsibilities Training Scheduling and Logistics • Schedule training sessions, instructors, meetings, classrooms, and hands-on training events. • Maintain training calendars and coordinate facilities, equipment, meals, lodging, vendors, and other delivery logistics as applicable. • Ensure training spaces are clean, professional, prepared, and ready for scheduled delivery. • Coordinate printing, distribution, and availability of participant and instructor materials. LMS Administration and Learner Support • Serve as the primary LMS owner and first point of support for Training Delivery & Professional Services. • Create, update, organize, and support training courses and learning activities in the LMS. • Manage registrations, enrollments, waitlists, rosters, course access, assignments, and closeout activities. • Troubleshoot routine LMS issues and provide user support to learners, instructors, and program teams. Training Records, Compliance, and Reporting • Maintain accurate training records, completion data, rosters, and required documentation. • Monitor assigned training requirements and support timely compliance reporting. • Prepare and distribute standard reports on enrollment, participation, completion, assessments, evaluations, and other program measures. • Collect evaluation data and provide results to program managers and other designated stakeholders. Communications and Coordination • Prepare and distribute training announcements, confirmations, reminders, deadlines, and schedule changes to participants and leaders. • Serve as a responsive coordination point for learners, instructors, program managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. • Monitor requests, track follow-up actions, and escalate delivery risks or unresolved issues as needed. Program Support • Support special projects, workforce programs, participant events, and other Training Delivery & Professional Services priorities as assigned. • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflow, consistency, and learner experience. Decision-Making and Accountability • Implement approved plans and established processes while independently managing daily coordination and priorities. • Use judgment to resolve routine scheduling, LMS, logistics, and learner-support issues within established guidelines. • Compare available options, recommend practical solutions, and escalate issues that affect scope, budget, compliance, or program outcomes. • Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, responsiveness, and dependable follow-through in all assigned work.
