Vegetation Management Coordinator

Role summary / purpose The position will support both Carolinas West and Carolinas East, providing support for all Vegetation Management operations in the Carolinas, including Transmission Vegetation Management and Distribution Vegetation Management. This position reports to the Vegetation Management Director and supports the VM Program by the successful execution of key operational tasks. The role is responsible for developing and implementing the necessary infrastructure to efficiently process and secure project-related documentation and for developing cost-effective solutions for project information management. Key responsibilities • Creates and sends reports to VM and Supplier leadership on defined cadences, including 10-day goals, after-hour call outs, customer tickets, ops requests, circuit maintenance audits, reactive QA, customer resolution metrics, and work orders exceeding 10 business days • Weekly crew tracking for VM and DCC • Second approver on VM Supplier invoices and provides additional invoice assistance as needed • Monitors work plan to ensure timely work order completion • Updates call out systems as needed • Creates and schedules VM Planned outages • Monitors and tracks customer complaints • Hazard Tree refusal letter facilitation and storage • Tracks computer-based training compliance • Assists with on/off boarding of suppliers as needed • Orders supplies and develops job aids as needed • Performs additional jurisdictional responsibilities such as sending requests for public notices, acquiring permits, monitoring customer communications, creating maps, and taking follow-up actions to ensure resolution • Coordinates and oversees the assembly, reproduction, revision control, and submission for archival of construction work packages Employment details – type, location, hours Candidate can live anywhere within the Carolinas West region and will work remotely most of the time.
