About this role
Role summary / purpose The Project Manager position will function as an agilist and will be managing a JIRA Kanban board for an agile team of telecom delivery controls engineers. They will arrange schedules, priorities, metrics, conduct stand ups, retrospectives, ensure status updates, and regulate flow of work within the agile team. Key responsibilities • Works closely with the team's product owner for work intake, prioritization, and implementation • Facilitates work pickup and schedule adherence • Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate setups • Confers with management to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods • Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise planning personnel of delays Requirements – education & experience • Experience working in an Agile Environment and understanding of the goals and objectives of the methodology Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Experience as a team agilist working with JIRA • Experience in the Telecommunication industry
