Cybersecurity Project Manager

Role summary / purpose Program Agile Oversight and Reporting professional responsible for partnering with delivery teams to oversee Features, Epics, Stories, and Backlog alignment, managing monthly Sprints, and performing monthly forecasting for Cost and Schedule. Key responsibilities • Partner with delivery teams for each project to oversee their Features, Epics, Stories, and Backlog to ensure alignment with schedule and deliverables • Plan and manage monthly Sprints • Manage backlog and identify and close Impediments • Perform Monthly Forecasting for Cost and Schedule • Research, identify, and prepare all required Gating artifacts for each project's next Gate • Work with project SMEs to develop estimates needed for each Gate • Develop Scope Baseline for each Project and Scope Management/Scope tracking template Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree • Solid project management experience • Proficient to Expert in Software and/or Communications/Telecom Projects • Proficient to Expert in Risk Management • Proficient in Project Lifecycle, Stage-Gate process, and project artifacting • Familiarity with the Agile framework, SDLC, Hybrid Agile • Familiarity with project scheduling and ability to quickly assess schedule impacts associated with Agile delivery • Familiarity with backlog management, particularly within JIRA and technical delivery roadmaps • Agile Project Management: Familiarity with Agile ceremonies, managing scope and requirements traceability across multiple projects and workstreams, participate and facilitate large-room engagements as needed Required skills • Highly proficient in Excel • Proficient to Expert Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Project, Teams, PowerPoint, Visio • JIRA • Familiarity with Scheduling toolsets: Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 • Proficient with Risk Management tools: Active Risk Manager/ARM Nice-to-have / preferred skills • PMP: Project Management Professional • PMI-ACP: Agile Certified Practitioner • Knowledge of cybersecurity and SDLC Employment details – type, location, hours Local to Charlotte; Office environment
