About this role
Role summary / purpose Assists management with administrative tasks including printing, routing, creating, or editing reports, calendars, schedules, notes, mail, newsletters, materials, supplies, presentations, databases, charts, graphs, and related documentation. Key responsibilities • Enters projects into the work management system using field notes, templates, or other methods • Applies standard designs to lower complexity corrective maintenance work, follow-up work, and routine program work • Assists with general work order preparations for overhead and underground revenue work, major projects, and maintenance/program work • Copies and translates sketches and notes into appropriate format for construction prints on work orders in the work management system • Completes work orders that do not require field visits or Designer guidance • Verifies and completes dependencies in the work management system prior to releasing jobs • Assists with updating work management system for status, project comments, customer comments, and contact information • Performs customer calls for various work management system tasks and coordinates with responsible parties regarding right-of-way, site readiness, scheduling, and related matters • Compiles, reviews, and prints reports from work management system as needed • Contacts customers to confirm project details and schedules • Assists in managing communications including creation and scheduling of customer outages, letters, invoices, and general customer communications • Communicates, coordinates, and develops solutions for requests between Designers, Schedulers, and other team members • Reports job status details to Designers, Specialists, and construction crews as needed • Prepares for and provides storm support as needed Required skills • Strong communication skills • Proficiency with MSO, Teams, Maximo, and PowerBI Employment details – type, location, hours Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid position with 3 days per week in office. Office environment with no physical labor, hazardous conditions, or machinery operation required.
