About this role

Role summary / purpose This position provides essential support for daily insurance administration processes, financial coordination, and proper accounting methodology. The Insurance Operations Coordinator performs a wide range of clerical and administrative assistance functions, including maintenance of records, data retrieval and compilation, financial reporting, month-end close, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities • Partner with project management teams on procurement activities, including purchase order creation, requisition processing, and full procure-to-pay support • Track insurance-related costs and execute month-end accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting • Collaborate with accounting to ensure proper accounting methodology and compliance with company policy • Support master data creation and maintenance to ensure data accuracy across systems • Coordinate cross-functionally with project managers, site personnel, finance, and business management to prepare and distribute required documentation • Facilitate executive signature processes for required documentation • Maintain organized financial data and insurance tracking systems • Monitor and validate all insurance-related cost flows • Provide cost analysis and financial support to insurance providers • Act as a key point of contact for risk management and insurance claims • Manage claims processing and discussions between risk management and insurance adjusters Requirements – education & experience • High School Diploma or GED required • 11–15 years of experience in administrative financial support, record maintenance, and compliance Required skills • Strong experience in financial reporting and compliance tracking • Proficiency in data retrieval, compilation, and record maintenance • Cross-department collaboration and communication skills • Attention to detail and organizational skills Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Experience with SAP financial modules • Knowledge of month-end accrual processes • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams Employment details – type, location, hours Position type and location details to be discussed during the application process.
