Role summary / purpose Analyzes business process and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives. Applies advanced analytical skills within the functional area. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects. Is recognized as an expert in their own area within the organization. Key responsibilities • Lead PP solution design workshops. • Review and leverage existing production planning processes. • Configure SAP PP and MM solutions. • Design MRP and procurement integration processes. • Support master data design including BOMs, routings, work centers, and material masters. • Develop functional specifications and support testing cycles. • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer. • Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and hyper care stabilization. • Develop functional specifications by translating business requirements into clear and concise functional documentation. • Perform testing and validation by collaborating with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate the solution against business requirements, and ensure proper functionality. • Monitor and evaluate solution performance by tracking and measuring the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Requirements – education & experience Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration) required. 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, IT systems analysis, and technology implementation. 10+ years of SAP PP implementation experience.
