Natural Gas Scheduler

Role summary / purpose The T&E Gas Scheduler provides transactional analysis and gas scheduling, working closely with a team of regional traders and schedulers to optimize and accurately provide pipeline activities on multiple pipelines in support of the Trading organization. Understands the basic movement of natural gas, pipeline tariffs and electronic bulletin boards, internal tracking and risk systems, and is capable of tracking transactions from inception to month end close. Key responsibilities • Perform transactional analysis and gas scheduling across multiple pipelines • Collaborate with regional traders and schedulers to optimize pipeline activities • Track transactions from inception through month end close • Manage internal tracking and risk systems • Apply problem-solving skills independently with limited supervisor guidance • Analyze least-cost methods using analytical and technical skills Required skills • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) • Understanding of natural gas movement and pipeline tariffs • Knowledge of electronic bulletin boards and internal tracking systems • Analytical and technical skills • Problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently Employment details – type, location, hours May require evenings or weekends.
