Company introduction Help bring the next generation of products to life! Our Procurement team is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our New Product Launch Team. Role summary / purpose In this support role, you'll collaborate to align on sourcing activities for assigned direct material categories from initial part release through product launch. You'll work closely with Engineering, Category Management, suppliers, and cross-functional program teams to help deliver key objectives related to timing, total cost, quality, and supplier readiness. Key responsibilities • Partner with Category Management Teams (CMT) and Engineering throughout New Product Development programs. • Support sourcing decision alignment with business objectives, CMT strategies, and processes. • Support data collection for sourcing activities. • Support suppliers onboarding and usage of systems. • Support Readiness Managers in the creation of Sourcing Decision documentation. • Support model transition process as new models launch. • Creation of the tooling data in the system for traceability and tracking. • Responsible for supplier communications regarding RFQ status. • Liaison between suppliers, processes, and the Sourcing Managers to support sourcing activity. Requirements – education & experience Bachelor's degree and some purchasing/procurement experience, OR at least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience. Required skills • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word, with demonstrated experience working with spreadsheets, analyzing data, and organizing large amounts of information. • Foundational understanding of procurement and sourcing principles. • Strong organization and prioritization skills. • Strong communication abilities. Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Ability to use Excel and spreadsheets to create Sourcing Decision documentation. • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs. • Quick learner with a curious, proactive, and continuous-improvement mindset. • Collaborative team player who can also work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
