Role summary / purpose Programming and configuration of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS), including installation, testing, and troubleshooting of security components to ensure proper operation. Key responsibilities • Program PACS access points and security components (readers, monitor points, outputs, etc.) within the access control system • Program and configure Video Management Systems (NVRs, cameras, analytics) • Troubleshoot security components (PACS/VMS) that malfunction • Test security components within PACS/VMS using field testers to ensure proper operation once brought online • Communicate effectively with teammates and other business areas regarding project task progression and challenges
