Senior Project Controls Scheduler

Role summary / purpose This role is for a Senior Project Scheduler who must have demonstrated hands-on experience using Primavera P6 as the scheduling software. This is the expert level of the Project Controls classification hierarchy. Workers at this level lead the development of reporting systems for project controls assignments and perform complex aspects of individual scheduling, change documentation, and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level. They train and teach other members of the Project Controls organization with minimal oversight and wide latitude for unreviewed work. Key responsibilities • Lead the development of reporting systems for project controls assignments • Perform complex aspects of individual scheduling, change documentation, and cost control • Report up to program or portfolio level • Train and teach other members of the Project Controls organization • Lead schedule review meetings and work with the project team to obtain information to build and update the project schedule • Work independently on high-volume projects with minimal oversight Requirements – education & experience • Graduation from a four-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent AND 7 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera P6 • Or 11 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera P6 in lieu of a degree • Expert-level knowledge of project controls principles • Advanced skills using Primavera P6 Required skills • Expertise and mastery with project management and project controls concepts • Advanced proficiency with computer applications and analytics • Employee development capabilities • Strong collaborative team member with oversight abilities Employment details – type, location, hours Full-time, hybrid position with 3 days per week in office.
