About the Role Our client's Customer Service Division is committed to providing customers with an Always On experience and getting them back on the road in the shortest possible time. The technology team delivers world-class software used by dealers to diagnose and repair vehicles, by customers for a seamless service experience, and by the enterprise to run a highly profitable parts service business. You will serve as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops web services, web pages, APIs, and microservices. You will collaborate with other product teams on integrations, testing, and deployments, translate business requirements into detailed specifications, and ensure software engineering excellence through best practices and quality. You will work with an iterative, agile, and user-centric perspective, communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, and demonstrate software engineering excellence through active coding, pairing, and code and architecture reviews. Required Experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles • Familiarity with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices, including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD) • 5 years with progressive responsibilities in Software Engineering, Architecture, and Agile Framework • 5+ years with Core Java, Spring Boot, React.js / Angular • 3+ years with modern databases (relational and non-relational) • Experience with cloud services and platform knowledge • Demonstrated understanding and experience developing API solutions • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines such as Tekton, Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Apigee X, etc. • 2+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Microsoft Azure • Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Frontend: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright; Backend: JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers, Spring Boot Test) • Experience with Clean Code principles and design patterns (SOLID, DDD, etc.) • Proficiency in code quality tools such as SonarQube, ESLint, Prettier, Checkstyle • Understanding of refactoring techniques and legacy code improvement • Experience with JIRA backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile tools • Proven ability to work with a diverse and global team • Strong personal presence and capabilities to resolve technical concerns • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience • Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision-making in a rapidly changing environment Work Arrangement 4 days on site
