Company introduction We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support the Power Generation Division Engineering and Operations Support Services organization. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating enterprise-scale Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity, resiliency, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives across renewable, battery storage, and conventional generation assets. Role summary / purpose The successful candidate will partner with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, compliance, IT, SCADA, telecommunications, and construction teams to deliver complex projects that improve the security, reliability, availability, and resiliency of generation control systems and critical infrastructure. You will establish project governance frameworks, manage project schedules and budgets, coordinate internal and external resources, facilitate executive communications, and ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with long-term cybersecurity and operational resiliency strategy. Key responsibilities • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex cybersecurity and technology projects. • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans. • Coordinate activities across Operations, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and third-party vendors. • Drive project governance processes, tollgates, status reporting, and executive communications. • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, design reviews, and implementation planning sessions. • Identify project risks and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies. • Track project scope, cost, schedule, and performance metrics. • Support development of business cases, budget requests, and capital project justifications. • Manage vendor engagements, contracts, statements of work, and project deliverables. • Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives impacting renewable, storage, fossil, and transmission-connected facilities. • Develop executive presentations, dashboards, and project performance reporting for leadership teams. • Promote standardization, scalability, and repeatable execution processes across the generation fleet. Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field. • 7+ years of project or program management experience leading large-scale technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or operational projects. • Experience managing enterprise cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, SCADA, industrial controls, or Operational Technology initiatives. • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across technical and business organizations. Required skills • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies. • Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise IT infrastructure. • Experience with Agile project management and IT governance. • Financial forecasting and strategic planning capabilities. Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Experience working in electric utility, power generation, critical infrastructure, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments. • Familiarity with NERC CIP, industrial cybersecurity, SCADA systems, network infrastructure, and control systems. • Experience leading M365 implementations (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform).
