Role summary / purpose The Intermediate Stakeholder Engagement Manager plays a key role in advancing the company's stakeholder engagement strategy for large-scale transmission projects throughout Florida. This position leads strategic outreach efforts for low- to medium-risk projects, including new infrastructure construction and enhancements to existing transmission assets to promote stakeholder awareness, build trust, and support successful project execution. Key responsibilities • Developing and managing strategic engagement plans that enable the successful execution of large, complex transmission projects • Engaging and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders • Serving as a key project team member advocating for the public's interests and negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes • Developing external communications strategies in coordination with internal stakeholders • Developing proactive strategies to manage potential opposition related to transmission projects • Interacting with external stakeholders to identify solutions to issues that support overall project goals Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience • Experience in infrastructure, utility, or gas sectors • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience • Experience with transmission projects Required skills • MSO (Managed Service Organization) skills • Strategic stakeholder engagement • Project management and coordination • External communications and public relations • Negotiation and conflict resolution Employment details – type, location, hours Locations: Lake Mary, Florida and St. Petersburg, Florida Hybrid work arrangement Travel: Approximately 2 days per week
