About this role

Role summary / purpose The Training and Adoption Lead will design, develop, and deliver the learning and performance-support program for the updated SDLC. The role translates approved processes into practical, role-based learning experiences that enable employees to perform their responsibilities successfully. The position oversees training-needs analysis, curriculum, handbooks, videos, job aids, delivery, proficiency checks, go-live support, and post-launch reinforcement. Key responsibilities • Conduct a training-needs analysis using future-state processes, stakeholder impacts, and role responsibilities. • Develop a role-to-training matrix, curriculum, learning objectives, sequencing, prerequisites, and delivery approach. • Create SDLC handbooks, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, checklists, and process walkthroughs. • Develop instructional videos, demonstrations, recorded sessions, microlearning, and scenario-based materials. • Design live, virtual, self-paced, and blended learning solutions. • Create knowledge checks, proficiency assessments, practice exercises, and course evaluations. • Coordinate SME review, testing, approval, publication, and version control. • Pilot training with representative users and incorporate feedback. • Develop train-the-trainer materials and manager reinforcement resources. • Design and manage go-live office hours, Teams support, question triage, escalation, FAQs, and knowledge articles. • Track enrollment, completion, assessment scores, confidence, support trends, and adoption indicators. • Coordinate training environments, system access, scheduling, enrollment capacity, facilitators, and delivery logistics. • Define proficiency thresholds, remediation paths, exemption or equivalency rules, and required acknowledgements where applicable. • Integrate required SDLC learning into new-hire, contractor, vendor, and refresher-training processes. • Address accessibility, localization, data-retention, and reporting requirements for learning materials and records. • Transition training assets and support processes to long-term owners. Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, organizational development, communications, business, technology, or a related field. • Four or more years designing and delivering training for process or technology transformations. • Experience creating curricula, instructor-led and virtual training, job aids, handbooks, and digital learning. • Experience conducting needs analysis and developing role-based learning. Required skills • Strong instructional writing, facilitation, presentation, and content-development skills. • Ability to translate complex processes into practical, performance-focused learning. Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Experience supporting SDLC, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, IT governance, or process-compliance initiatives. • Knowledge of adult-learning principles and methodologies such as ADDIE. • Experience with Guidde, Teams, SharePoint, Camtasia, or comparable tools. • Experience developing proficiency measures, office hours, hypercare, or communities of practice.
