Role summary / purpose Demonstrates expertise in a wide range of training products and services which support Division and Team goals. Serves as an internal expert in a discipline specific/task based area. Provides advanced expertise and innovation in the research, design, analysis, and administration of assigned function(s) to support the achievement of business objectives of assigned customer area(s). Serves as project leader for complex training projects in accordance with Division Business processes. Designs and administers training products and services for assigned projects to enable achievement of Company and business unit goals and support compliance with customer training needs. Remains abreast of current and emerging training practices, trends and methods and ensures their application as appropriate. Attends industry and company-sponsored seminars and conferences; exchanges information with governmental, academic, and training professionals; research appropriate journals and periodicals. OPS training requiring SRO or RO certified training. Key responsibilities • Responsible for knowing and executing the ADDIE methodology • Develop instructor led, virtual, and eLearning training materials • Serve as project leader for complex training projects in accordance with Division Business processes Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree minimum • Experience in developing instructor led, virtual, and eLearning training Required skills • Proficiency with Camtasia, Storyline, Photoshop, Vyond, Rise, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, Power BI, Adobe Audition, Teams, SnagIT, OneNote, Jira • Knowledge of ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and Chapman's Alliance methodologies • Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall project management approaches • Strong written and oral communication skills • Active listening skills • Analytical thinking • Strong leadership skills • Change management expertise • Technical skills • Adaptability and flexibility in revising/updating training materials when system changes are required Employment details – type, location, hours Hybrid position requiring 3 days in office. Locations: Brecon Facility - Cincinnati, OH or Duke Energy Plaza - Charlotte, NC Travel to different Operations Centers and/or flights to different Regions may be possible depending on the training being worked on. Offices are located in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Employee will drive their own vehicle, which could include rental vehicles due to traveling.
