Junior Database Modeler

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Junior Database Modeler to support computer-based modeling activities. This opportunity is well suited for a recent engineering graduate who is interested in applying technical and analytical skills in a specialized modeling environment. No significant prior modeling experience is required. The selected candidate will receive approximately three to four months of structured on-the-job and classroom training in database modeling tools, standards, and procedures. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or another engineering discipline • Academic concentration or coursework in power systems preferred • Successful completion of courses such as Power Systems I and Power Systems II is highly desirable • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills • Ability and willingness to learn computer-based database modeling applications and procedures • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with technical information Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates from all electrical engineering concentrations, as well as those holding bachelors degrees in other engineering disciplines, will be considered.
