Role summary / purpose The successful candidate will serve as the link between the plant and the manufacturing facility, residing at the customer facility. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with superior communication skills who will interface with customers and internal teams. Key responsibilities • Re-verify parts within the computer system • Perform first level analysis of non-conformances • Verify all suspect product and maintain product test equipment • Serve as the communication link between Customer Plant and manufacturing operations • Expedite non-conforming material same day • Input data into Incident Reporting System (IRS) • Provide technical support and system understanding • Conduct and coordinate initial 24-hour containment activities • Coordinate additional containment where required • Participate as an integral part of response teams • Write weekly trip reports • Monitor and negotiate customer return Parts Per Million (PPM) rates • Provide and coordinate special event activities • Develop customer relationships to improve product quality and maintain or increase business Requirements – education & experience • Must have wire harness experience • 10+ years of related work experience • College degree with a major in Engineering • Training in computer applications Required skills • Computer literacy • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and email • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Superior communication skills • Technical support capabilities Employment details – type, location, hours Position is based at customer facility.
