Role summary / purpose Mobile Planner position responsible for planning and scheduling mobile equipment for all projects in development and execution phases of construction. Key responsibilities • Plans and schedules mobile equipment for all projects in development and execution phases of construction • Prepares one lines for mobile equipment installations • Sends one lines to Distribution contacts to get approval of Distribution side of equipment • Requests relay settings from P&C Engineering • Follows repairs through the corrective process for each piece of equipment • Serves as single point of contact for mobile equipment status and availability of all temporary equipment • Travels to substations for site visits to view locations for mobile installations • Facilitates implementation of the annual work plan for all projects on the planning horizon • Consults with stakeholders to gather annual work plan data, set priorities, and make adjustments needed to effectively match work and resources • Delivers cost effective and efficient resource plans to the scheduling function • Monitors and optimizes long range implementation plan and directs required schedule changes • Initiates and conducts monthly work plan meetings with stakeholders to ensure business goals and objectives are being met Requirements – education & experience • 20 years experience Required skills • Familiar with substation equipment and functions • Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Transmission substation background • MicroStation proficiency Employment details – type, location, hours Hybrid role with 3 days per week in office. Some travel required with use of personal vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed.
