Project Estimator-Level 4 - Lead

Role summary / purpose The Project Estimator 4 is a senior subject-matter expert responsible for leading and governing complex capital expenditure (CapEx) estimating and financial modeling activities across large, high-impact projects, bringing 15+ years of experience in project estimation, cost control strategies, and market-aligned forecasting. Key responsibilities • Independently develop and validate comprehensive capital cost models • Integrate staffing, risk, escalation, and market dynamics into estimates • Ensure alignment with evolving industry benchmarks, financial regulations, and organizational investment strategies • Provide strategic oversight of design reviews to ensure cost-effectiveness • Lead market pricing and benchmarking initiatives • Establish best practices for construction cost metrics and estimating methodologies • Serve as a technical authority and mentor on advanced estimating tools and construction cost forecasting • Support executive decision-making through accurate, defensible, and market-informed project financial evaluations • Provide guidance on CapEx optimization strategies Requirements – education & experience • 15+ years of experience in project estimation, cost control strategies, and market-aligned forecasting
