Company introduction We are seeking a Land Rights Specialist to join our team in a critical role supporting our infrastructure and operations. Role summary / purpose Responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and securing land rights (fee, lease, easement) for company use. Handles leasing of company-owned properties, disposal of surplus land, and resolution of land-related conflicts. Conducts negotiations with landowners to ensure timely acquisition of transmission rights-of-way, substation sites, and other necessary properties. Works closely with developers, regulatory agencies, construction teams, and property owners to facilitate land use agreements and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities • Lead strategic land acquisition efforts for major projects. • Resolve complex land ownership conflicts and regulatory challenges. • Advise on property rights, land use planning, and eminent domain proceedings. • Oversee valuation, negotiations, and execution of high-value land deals. • Develop and implement land acquisition policies and best practices. Requirements – education & experience Bachelor's degree required. Nice-to-have / preferred skills Certifications in real estate law or land acquisition preferred.
