Role summary / purpose Application Analyst IV serving as a key project resource for enterprise security enhancements, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, data integrity, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities • Assist with the health, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications. • Design and develop complex software solutions to address business challenges. • Translate ideas into actionable user stories and deliver high-quality outcomes. • Provide insights and solutions to product owners and business users. • Ensure regulatory compliance and apply Human Performance tools during testing and implementation. • Lead design/code reviews and uphold best practices in source control and documentation. • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly across diverse audiences. • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset and passion for learning. Requirements – education & experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in application development and support. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Experience managing multiple priorities and user stories. • Familiarity with the full application lifecycle. Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Solid SQL background; comfortable with DBA tasks and stored procedures. • Proficiency in C#. • Python experience, especially for data extraction tasks. • GUI development experience with Angular; strong JavaScript skills; basic HTML/CSS. • RESTful APIs. • Familiarity with firewall policies or a networking background. • Experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls. • Knowledge of Archer platform. • Comfort working with transactional and denormalized databases. • Kafka experience. • Embrace Agile principles and value strong documentation. • Self-motivated and capable of working independently. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple efforts confidently. • Understanding of IT security standards and deliverables.
