Role summary / purpose SharePoint Information Coordinator & Data Analyst Company introduction We are seeking a SharePoint/Data Management professional to manage a comprehensive Midstream SharePoint site supporting hundreds of projects, primarily capital projects. This role goes beyond document control administration to encompass full SharePoint administration responsibilities. Key responsibilities • Administer SharePoint libraries, metadata, file structures, permissions, access rights, and internal/external project sites. • Maintain and audit project documentation, engineering records, final turnover files, and closeout packages in accordance with Government, Company, and Records Management requirements. • Apply company rules for data retention, archiving, and deletion to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. • Coordinate document-control deliverables with Project Managers, Information Management, engineering firms, contractors, and Operations across a large quantity of projects. • Drive early identification, data cleansing, validation, and data migration readiness for SharePoint and shared drives. • Transform data into meaningful metrics and actionable insights to help the business track performance and make smarter choices. • Use SAP and LiveLink to locate project information and archive files; support lessons-learned data management. • Lead SharePoint and documentation training; provide technical support for document management, access, permissions, collaboration, and file organization. • Develop and improve document-management procedures, workflows, naming conventions, checklists, job aids, training materials, and closeout processes. • Provide stakeholders with responsive technical support and clear communication throughout the document and data lifecycle. • Communicate daily through meetings, email, Teams, training, clarification requests, status reports, and customer support. • Maintain accuracy, security, compliance, and timely delivery while managing competing priorities and changing requirements for sensitive information. • Remain flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, adapting project plans and tasks to changes as needed. Requirements – education & experience • Associate degree or higher • 5 or more years of experience in a business environment related to data analytics, active directory experience, folder permissions, and records management such as record storage, filing, and retrieval. • 3 or more years working in the energy industry and/or construction. • Proficient operating as a SharePoint Administrator. Required skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills • Strong initiative with the ability to work independently as well as with a diverse, complex, and broad project team. • Highly skilled in organization, accuracy, and time management to oversee multiple assignments simultaneously. Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Bachelor's degree or higher • Experience with various proprietary Electronic Document Control and computing systems. • Proficient in SAP • Knowledgeable in LiveLink • Specific knowledge and experience in the document control process and file management Employment details – type, location, hours Location: Houston, TX Work arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote on a 5/8 schedule Contract length: 2-year contract, with potential for extension Equal opportunity s…
