About this role
Role summary / purpose Plan and oversee the execution of projects and programs focused on technology implementation or upgrade of technology applications, capabilities, and solutions (e.g., enterprise applications, SaaS, internal infrastructure, networking, data centers, labs). Act as Scrum Master or Agile Coach to ensure teams embrace Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles. Key responsibilities • Develop project plans, define project/program scope, goals, and deliverables for technology application development and implementation across the enterprise • Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with IT teams and technology vendors • Facilitate development efforts by creating and monitoring efficient, streamlined processes between internal teams and external technology providers • Communicate status updates to stakeholders across multiple organizations and teams with quantitative measurements • Ensure project and program objectives, deliverables, and results are completed within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and allocated resources • Provide accurate and insightful analysis and reporting, presenting data in clear formats for presentations and reviews • Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely project/program completion • Manage technology product goals and forecasts; collaborate with technical development teams to translate long-term objectives into actionable technology strategy and implementation roadmap • Guide execution by applying standard frameworks and development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) • Manage Agile ceremonies and cadences including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and stand-ups for technical tooling teams supporting multiple global stakeholder groups • Stand up new Agile/iteration cadences as team structure, scope, or stakeholder needs evolve • Build and maintain reporting from Jira and other tools to track velocity, throughput, capacity, and delivery risk • Define and track team health and delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability, defect escape rate) to drive continuous improvement • Produce and deliver management-level status updates including risks, scope changes, and escalations • Identify and drive removal of obstacles and blockers impacting team delivery • Balance and t-shirt size workload across technical staff to ensure sustainable, realistic capacity planning • Ensure requirements are well-written to meet stakeholder needs • Coordinate testing, QA, and UAT activities across the SDLC in partnership with engineering and business stakeholders • Partner with platform, data analytics, and compliance/risk teams to solve problems and deliver enterprise value • Ensure quality of project deliverables and manage scope across large, complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives • Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure requirements are understood and issues resolved efficiently • Support vendor coordination and integration efforts where applicable Requirements – education & experience • 6 years in IT • 3 years in Program Management • Expert-level Project Management experience • Specialist level Required skills • Project and program management • Agile and Scrum methodologies • Stakeholder communication and management • Risk identification and mitigation • Process improvement and continuous optimization • Technical acumen and understanding of enterprise technology so…
