Transmission Project Manager

Role summary / purpose This position is typically retained to manage multiple Green I or Green II projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix. Key responsibilities • Manage multiple projects in accordance with established project management frameworks • Interact with individuals across various organizational levels, from individual contributors to senior department leadership • Oversee project-related scheduling and cost controls • Lead risk management and project oversight activities Requirements – education & experience • 5-9 years of project management experience • Graduation from a four-year college or university • Proficiency in project management principles • Experience in the utility industry, specifically power (distribution, transmission, etc.) Required skills • Intermediate to advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs • Critical thinking and ability to interpret complex Excel documents • Proficiency in project management, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving • Written and oral communication skills • Strong collaboration and project leadership abilities • Data management in Microsoft Excel and Access Nice-to-have / preferred skills • Master's degree in business (MBA), project management, or equivalent • Utility technical certifications or training • PMP or CAPM certification • CMII or construction certifications • Professional engineer license • Agile project management experience in the utility industry • Knowledge in construction management • IT project management experience with utilities background Employment details – type, location, hours Office environment.
